Renz Research, Inc. was founded in
2000 with visions to serve the rapidly growing structural biology field.
We plan to achieve our goal via two complementary aspects: better
software and in-person consultation. We develop better engineered, more
intelligent crystallographic software to help high-throughput structure
determination in the on-going structure genomics efforts, and to
enhance user-friendliness of these software for greater community
of biologists. Our ultimate goal is the industrial strength of
crystallographic computing so that the required training can be
minimized for a qualified software user, which will ultimately reduce
the cost per structure. This can only be realized if the
crystallographic 'wheel' is re-engineered. We may also implement
client-specified application software for frontier research in
structural biology, and provide professional services to both academic
and industrial laboratories that demand the state-of-the-art
crystallographic techniques.
